Financial independence has always been something I value, but navigating the financial world is extremely difficult due to inadequate education of even basic finance. After graduating from Michael G. Foster School of Business at The University of Washington with a degree in Finance, I knew immediately I wanted to join a team motivated firm that focused on teaching people finance in the most basic meaning of the word, to the most advanced, and everything in between. Quantitative finance is critical, but recently we have seen behavioral finance take the forefront. Meaning, a majority of people make decisions on emotion, so I pride myself on educating clients with the, ‘why.’ I have seen that this not only educates the client, but empowers them to follow through and feel confident with the decisions they make.
